Lahore, March 31: Prime Minister (PM) Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his brother Chief Minister (CM) Shabaz Sharif eligibility has been challenged in Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Friday.

The citizen Mehmood Akhter Naqwi has filed an application in LHC in which he took stance that Nawaz Sharif and Shabaz Sharif were defaulter of National Bank of Pakistan in 2013 and according to constitution defaulter person can not take contest elections. The applicant said in his application that Nawaz Sharif and Shabaz Sharif did not fulfill the requirement under article 62 and 63 of the constitution so both the brothers should be banned for next election of 2018.-Online
