LAHORE, April 30: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan chief Senator Sirajul Haq on Sunday said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif should resign honorably, saying that the decision in Panamagate case will come against the rulers even after 60 days.
Addressing a ceremony at Mansoora in Lahore, the JI chief advised Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign honorably to avoid 1977 like movement.
He added that rampant corruption was going on, saying that almost all parties are ‘preacher’ of corruption. He added that whether there is martial law or democracy a certain group is seen calling the shots.
The JI chief said that Pakistan corrupt elite was with international establishment. He urged all religious parties to get united, saying that infighting and difference help colonial power agenda.-Sabah
