- Ministers leave without distributing prizes
ISLAMABAD, April 30: The situation on the prize distribution ceremony of first Mayor Football Cup 2017 worsened as ‘Go Nawaz Go’ slogans chanted by the spectators when Minister for Information, Maryam Aurangzeb arrived at the stadium on Sunday.
It is to be mentioned here that Minister for CADD, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry was also present on this occasion, The Administration and security staff tried to calm the audience and players but they reacted and said that the Government should keep the sports and politics separate. Both the Ministers have left the venue without distributing the prizes.-Monitoring Desk
