Sanity has no place in decision making circles of India. When it comes to regional affairs, one finds a strange and obvious cunningness overtaking every move of India but an additional element of ruthlessness always dominates the state actions if it has to deal with the Muslims. Kashmir is the place where the depth of Indian extremism can be rightly measured now-a-days. It is a tragedy that extremism is flourishing in the herds of the state. Unlike many other parts of the world, Indian extremism has deep roots in the society and state has adopted anti muslim hatred as an essential part of her policy. India as a state, draws strength out of this hatred and pursues a highly destructive strategy against Pakistan. 1947 Partition took place as result of an irreversible sense of insecurity and fear among the muslims. Who doesn’t know that the muslims had a genuine fear of extremist Hindu mindset. Indian atrocities in Kashmir have proved that the fear in the past was neither incorrect nor an exaggeration. Indian inhuman conduct in Kashmir has validated the partition and in a way endorsed the vision behind Pakistan movement. Leaving aside few dubious self styled journalists or intellectuals, majority of Pakistanis take Kashmir as unfinished agenda of partition. Kashmiris are paying the price of this unfinished partition. Pakistan is a permanent thorn in the heart of India. Her coercive policies and anti Pakistan moves are not a secret for the world. A call for freedom from Kashmiris serves like a fuel on the fire. How, India can bear a cry for freedom once she has not yet accepted the existence of Pakistan till today. Living in the past with unmanageable pain and misery of hatred is the real source of Indian extremism. Brutalities against Kashmiris are the true reflection of deep rooted anti muslim sentiments. In this age of fast communication, Kashmiris have no access to regular media facilities. It is not difficult to understand that why this all is happening in Kashmir. India can not afford a slightest exposure of her extremist face to the world. Hundreds of eyes turned blind with the pallet guns. Illegal detentions converted the brides into half widows. Innocent unarmed citizens being killed and mutilated publicly. Human shield on a military vehicle is another dark spot on the forehead of Indian democracy. How Modi can stand in front of the world while having so many spots on his forehead. How his counterparts would feel while standing with a person having both hands soaked in blood. There are big question marks on the conduct and reaction of UNO. This forum has lost the credibility for most of the muslim world in real sense primarily due to biased response on Palestine and Kashmir issues. On one hand, India is actively sponsoring terrorism against Pakistan from Afghan land. On the other hand, atrocities in Kashmir and cease fire violations on LOC are increasing with every day. These are very dangerous signs for regional peace. World conscious is put on a bitter test on account of Indian inhuman conduct in Kashmir. These are tough testing times for Kashmiris. Our Political leadership has to shoulder the fragile responsibility by giving a clear policy direction. What all is being displayed from ruling regime presents no positive signs. Rapid loss of cohesion and sudden rise in mistrust among important state offices are the most undesired developments at national canvas. There are much serious issues hovering at our heads. Those who claim to be the leaders should prove it with their conduct . Kashmirs are looking towards Pakistan. Don’t disappoint them as usual dear leaders!
