ISLAMABAD, May 15: Joint investigation team (JIT) constituted for investigation in panama case has decided to seek details of tax returns of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his sons from year 1985 to 2016.
According to media reports, a meeting of JIT was held under Wajid Zia.
It was decided in the meeting that JIT would write a letter to FBR to collect all evidence so that all the aspects of the case could be reviewed in details.
It was also decided that FBR would be directed to provide details of income tax returns of PM and his children.
Sources said that the JIT is likely to summon Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to confirm his statement regarding Hudabiya Paper Mills scandal.
The Joint Investigation Team has decided to take the services of a private British audit firm to probe documents related to Panama Papers, informed sources.
Bilal Rasool, representative of Security and Exchange Company in the JIT, has been given the responsibility of contacting the British audit firm..-Online/Agencies
