“Interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali khan had declared this matter as tantamount to national security, if it was not the matter of national security at all then interior minister and corps commander should withdraw their statements’, Shireen said this while speaking in National Assembly session on Tuesday.

She was of the opinion that if news was fake then either this punishment of removing from office is ample and if this was a planted story then why not the one who involved in such heinous activity not assessed.
Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umer while speaking at
flour the National assembly has said that Dawn Leaks issue is a matter of national security which can’t be resolved by withdrawing a tweet by ISPR.
He was of the opinion that it is the Parliament, who can decide it. He said India had waged propaganda over the issue which deprecated the country’s integrity.
He said only the Parliament have the mandate to formulate the county’s foreign policy not any institution. The issue not only defamed the army but two hundred million people of Pakistan were dishonoured.
He further added Dawn Leaks was a conspiracy against Pakistan which cannot be resolved over DGISPR’S withdrawal of tweet. Pakistani Nation will not consider such a minor punishment against such a big conspiracy.
News with the Pictures of DGISPR was circulated throughout the world which distorted the country’s image abroad, he added.-Agencies
