DUNYAPUR/MANKIRA/KHANEWAL, May 21: Over 100 suspects including proclaimed offenders were arrested during the search operations of law enforcement agencies from different areas of Punjab. Weapons were also recovered from the custody of the arrested persons.
Seven persons were arrested from Haleem Shah and Chab Clan areas of Khanewal. The weapons and narcotics were recovered from the custody of the arrested persons. The cases have also been registered against the arrested persons. Meanwhile 19 suspects were arrested during search operation in Dunyapur and Mankira. During the operation houses were also searched and the particulars of many were verified by bio-metric. Three suspects were arrested during the joint search operation conducted jointly by Lodhran police and intelligence agencies in Basti-1 Sedha area within the limits of Galaywal in Dunyapur. During the search operation conducted by the RPO Multan three suspects were arrested, over 12 houses were searched and particulars of 17 people were verified by biometric.
District Police Officer Assad Sarfraz Khan vowed that criminal elements would be brought to justice.
Meanwhile, 16 suspects were arrested during search operation in various areas within the limits of Hyderabad Thal police station, Mankira. Over 30 houses were searched and the particulars of their residents were verified by bio-metric. Illegal arm was recovered from one of the arrested accused.-Sabah
