Responding to the statement of Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, the PTI leader said, “Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led government is imparting flagrant explanations regarding the vile attempts of suppressing freedom of expression.”
“Rana Sanaullah in his statement has unveiled the commitment of fascist minded PML-N government to curb freedom of expression,” he said.
In a statement issued by Central Media Department, Mehmood-ur-Rasheed stated that, “The venomous propaganda against Armed forces by RAW and Indian media is nurtured by Prime Minister’s House.”
“What actually was the difference between the embarrassing news published after Dawn leaks and RAW’s reiterated perception towards Armed forces,” he added.
He stated that, “Those who provided port in a storm to the culprits of Dawn leaks have no right to strangle public opinion and cautioning government he stated that abandoning the plan on barring social media is in government’s best interests.”
He vowed to strongly resist every action of the government that undermines the fundamental constitutional right of free speech. -DNA
