ISLAMABAD, May 30: Hussain Nawaz, son of the Prime Minister (PM) has asserted on Tuesday that the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) would not be able to prove anything against him or his father in Panama Leaks probe.
After spending around 5:30 hrs in Federal Judicial Academy, Nawaz left the facility after recording his statement to the investigation team.
While talking to the media before leaving the JIT headquarters, Nawaz warned to move court against any official of the investigation
team who resorts to unlawful attitude. He further said that he would reappear before the JIT whenever he is asked to. Nawaz said that he answered all the questions raised by the probe team. Reportedly, legal counsel of premier’s son was not allowed to accompany him during the interrogation. President of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), Saeed Ahmed also recorded his statement to the JIT.
Nearly two hours after he reached the Judicial Academy, an ambulance was dispatched to the academy where, according to sources, Hussain Nawaz was given medical treatment after his health deteriorated. Sources said Hussain Nawaz’s sugar level dropped, as he was being quizzed by investigators. There was no further report on his health.-Agencies
