PPP observes ‘Black Day’ in Azad Kashmir against killing of workers

KOTLI, February 15: Black day” was observed on Monday in Azad Jammu and Kashmir to protest against the killings of Pakistan Peoples’ Party’s workers and meddling into AJK affairs by some ministers of Pakistan’s PMLN government.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) workers protested on Shaheed Chowk in Kotli. The demonstration was also attended by Azad Kashmir PM Chaudhry Abdul Majeed during which slogans were raised against federal government and ministers.
The attendees of the protest reached Abshar Chowk in form of a rally where a procession was also held. Shops in Kotli and Nakyal remained opened whereas business activities were also resumed.
Addressing to the gathering PM Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Abdul Majeed demanded that Pakistani premier Mr. Nawaz Sharif should seek apology for murder of PPP workers on national TV after dismissal of his cabinet members.
Contacts are being made with me but I am not ready to listen any one till the dismissal of the federal ministers meddling into AJK affairs, Ch. Majeed said adding that Nawaz Sharif should release the halted money of Azad Kashmir.
Ch. Majeed clarified that Kashmir is the name of unity and no one would be allowed to make Gilgit-Baltistan a separate province. Federal ministers want to foil success full Zarb-e-Azab operation against terrorism, he added.
An 18 grade servant seeking the resignation from an elected Prime Minster of base camp, he said adding that PPP would not let anybody to come into power by using back doors.
Ch. Majeed accused of federal ministers for killings of PPP workers and said that Azad Kashmir cannot be conquered by using guns.
On the other hand, police has also arrested the main suspect of the incident Sardar Aqeel Khan who is Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Youth Wing President.-Sabah
