India sponsored Hind-Baloch forum

Frustrated in its efforts to sabotage the China Pakistan Corridor, India has started openly supporting so-called Baloch separatist movement. India has been funding Baloch sub-nationalists and now is instrumental in formation of Hind-Baloch Forum in India. Pawan Sinha is president and Swami Jitendranad Saraswati is General Secretary of this Forum. With the arrest of Kulbushan Jadev and on his information arrest of other members of the network, there was let up in their vile acts. Last month, the Forum had organized its first seminar on the topic “How Indians can play a role in the freedom struggle of Balochistan” at Hotel Howard Plaza Fatehabad Road, Agra, Utter Paradesh, India. The guest speakers who spoke on the occasion included Major General (retired) G.D. Bakhshi, Colonel RSN Singh, former Director of India’s prime intelligence agency RAW. It is not difficult to conclude that Indian RAW is behind the establishment of Hind-Baloch Forum.
Balochistan, the resource-rich province of Pakistan is in the rivaling eyes of foreign predators, usurpers and imperialistic powers who intend to expand their influence in the region to gain control of minerals and other economic resources. Unfortunately, Balochistan lacks technological prowess and economic resources to exploit its minerals and untapped resources. In this context, Pakistan sought China’s help in developing Gwadar into an international port with a future plan to link it with Kashgar. China had extended economic and technical cooperation in developing Gwadar into a deep sea port, which created strategic irritations among certain powers including USA, India, Iran and Afghanistan. Chinese signatures in Gwadar are perceived as a threat to US influence in the region by monitoring the US in the Persian Gulf and CARS.
Since the time Pakistan handed over the management and control of Gwadar Port to China, enemies of Pakistan started their pernicious plans to destabilize Pakistan. Unfortunately, certain foreign agencies including CIA and RAW are using Baloch dissidents and anti-Pakistan NGOs like American Friends of Balochistan – a Washington-based NGO, which works for Indian lobby. An individual, Ahmer Masti Khan, a man with shady character and a traitor, is also actively working to promote their agenda in Gwadar. He had written letters to Oman embassy in Washington seeking help of Sultan Qaboos to defeat the alleged Pak-China Plan by taking over Gwadar. He distorts history that Gwadar was part of Oman, disregarding the fact that Gwadar was purchased from Oman by Pakistan in 1958 during Ayub Khan’s regime. During Indian PM Narendra Modi’s visit to the US, he was seen carrying a play card which read “PM Modi, Balochistan loves you, needs your help”.
On June 23, 2017, Dr. Ali Akbar Mengal President Baloch Diaspora France said: “Balochistan is facing worst kind of human rights violations by Pakistani and Chinese Government. Pakistani forces are doing slow and systematic genocide of Baloch people to clear way for sustainability of Chinese Economic and naval bases in Gawader Balochistan. Baloch Diaspora France warmly congratulates Indian friends for establishing Hind-Baloch Forum at this critical moment when Balochistan and Baloch people are bleeding due to Chinese economic imperialistic policies and Pakistan Punjabi chauvinism. As a regional power, it is moral obligation on Indian government and Indian people to support Balochistan freedom movement and raise voice against human rights violations in Balochistan. Baloch Diaspora will coordinate with Hind-Baloch Forum to raise voice for Baloch people at international forum.”
China’s Foreign Office had rejected India’s reservations on CPEC, and said that “India’s concerns are not right enough and we will carry on trade ties with Pakistan.” The CPEC project is part of Beijing’s “Belt and Road” plan to expand its trade and transport footprint across Central and South Asia. It will give China easier access to Middle Eastern oil via the deepwater port of Gwadar. It would provide links from the Caspian Sea to the Strait of Hormuz, and enable Gwadar to compete with Persian Gulf ports. But the United States is wary of Chinese strategic access to the Arabian Sea and its presence in the region, and has been trying to persuade Pakistan to abandon mega projects with Chinese help, but Pakistan refused to buckle under pressure.
