CPEC is a sore in Modi’ s eye. No body understands better than him about the revolution that it is going to bring about in the economy of Pakistan—- a prospect which is unpalatable to him. Since a bulk of developmental activity under this mega development project is taking place in the largest province of this country which houses Gwadar which is the hub of CPEC, New Delhi in cahoots with Washington has been trying to foment trouble in Balochistan.
The formation of Hind Baloch Forum is a case in point. This organization has been set up to spread lawlessness for destabilising Baluchistan. Retired senior Indian Army generals have been masterminding it.
This Forum has been hobnobbing with anti – state element in Balochistan.
The Indian machination can be effectively fought by, firstly , mobilising loyal Balochi political leaders of whom there is no dearth. Balochis should be made stake holders in every developmental activity that takes place in the province by providing them employement on a massive scale. . Side by side, the Armed forces should go the whole hog to ensure uninterrupted communication system in Balochistan.
