The recent unnecessary tension built up by the Indian troops at the Chinese border wax eloquent of New Delhi ‘s machination aimed at creating problems for China at the tacit instance of its new paymasters in Washington.India has cuddled up to the US following induction of Modi as prime minister of India.
New Delhi is also busy in its efforts to destabilise Pakistan by fomenting unrest in Balochistan.The setting up of an organisation named as Hind- Baloch Forum in India is a case in point.It is being masterminded by the retired senior generals of the Indian army.There is a meeting of mind between New Delhi and Washington on the CPEC.They simply don’t want to see China prosper economically .They also cannot stomach prosperity of Pakistan.They would go the whole hog in their joint bid to torpedo the Gwadar international airport in Baluchistan which is fastly coming up.Islamabad would have to doubly ensure that those Chinese who are working on all the projects associated with the CPEC are well protected .It is a pity that half hearted attempts were made both the previous government of Zardari as well as the present government for bringing back the angry Baloch hostiles within the political mainstream of the country.
