SHARJAH: Putting behind what happened in Sharjah match on Sunday, Pakistani cricketer Ahmed Shehzad has wished his fellow player Wahab Riaz good luck for the upcoming Asia Cup.
“Ahmed Shahzad said small altercations are no big deal. These things happen in the heat of the moment,” said Ahmed Shehzad in a message issued here on Monday.
Ahmed Shehzad said both he and Wahab Riaz should not have reacted the way they did on the field during the match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Sharjah.
He said he is keeping no personal grudges and hopes that Wahab Riaz will play a key role in Pakistan’s success in the upcoming tournament.
He said he fully supports the Pakistani team that is all set to participate in the Asia Cup.
Shehzad said whether he is part of the team or not, he would only wish that Pakistan comes back triumphant.PCB fined both players
Both Wahab Riaz and Ahmed Shahzad were slapped with heavy fines along with a warning by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
