We have read in books and heard from our elders that behind every big fortune there is a crime. We have also read and heard that woe betide the nation or country whose rulers belong to the trading class because traders tend to use their political clout as rulers to enhance their business empire and then buy their way into the corridors of way by using immense wealth at their disposal.
This country has been ruled turn by turn by two different set of families for more than a decade now and their common feature was their financial shenanigans . Both of them minted money galore while in power though their mode of earnings was slightly different. Both are involved in mega corruption cases but both of them haven’t got their just deserts as yet——-thanks to the legal nitpicks of their highly paid lawyers.
So entrenched are these two families in the power strata of this country that unless the electorate shows them the door in the coming elections they would never leave power. So shamefaced are these people that they refuse to obey the courts and behave in a manner as if they are above law.
