Leonardo DiCaprio Calls Kate WinsletTheir hearts may not go on for each other in a romantic way, but Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet have maintained an adorable and steadfast friendship since their Titanic days. The 41-year-old actor, who is expected to win this year’s Best Actor Oscar for his role in The Revenant, recently spoke about Winslet’s unwavering support, especially during this awards season.
Winslet recently stated that she would not boycott the Oscars because she wants to see her close friend take home the big prize.Clearly, her comments did not go unnoticed. After picking up the Best Actor BAFTA on Sunday, DiCaprio was asked about his long-time pal backstage. One of the reporters referred to Winslet as his “main groupie.”
“My main groupie?” DiCaprio laughed off the comment, before thanking Winslet and everyone else for their outpouring of support.
“It feels amazing,” he said. “Honestly, I have a true love for cinema. I have, ever since I was a young teenager . . . So to have worked in this industry ever since I was 13 years old, having done 20-something movies and to be here now, and have it be for a film like this that we worked so very hard on, it feels amazing. It feels fantastic.
“And Kate – that’s my homegirl!” DiCaprio added at the end.

Oscars Game released

A Leonardo DiCaprio video game has been created in which players help the star to try to win an Oscar.
The Hollywood actor is yet to win an Academy Award in his life, which has been well documented, but a new game, ‘Leo’s Red Carpet Rampage’, enables gamers to help the star get his hands on one of the elusive prizes, reported Femalefirst.
The arcade-style platform game see players make a mocked-up DiCaprio figure run along the red carpet towards an Oscars statue by simultaneously tapping the G and H keyboard buttons.
During his rampage, gamers can make the 41-year-old star jump over obstacles, such as the paparazzi and the iceberg which put paid to the Titanic.
Leonardo is odds-on favourite to win the Best Actor award for his latest movie ‘The Revenant’ at the star-studded ceremony on February 28, and in the game players get the chance to race other stars nominated in the category this year.
They include Bryan Cranston for “Trumbo”, Matt Damon, who is wearing his spacesuit from “The Martian”, Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs, and Eddie Redmayne as Lili Elbe from “The Danish Girl”.
