KARACHI , February 20: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Saturday that Asif Ali Zardari is the assent of not only PPP but the whole nation, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, Bilawal said that the wisdom displayed by Asif Ali Zardari, after the martyrdom of Benazir Bhutto, proved him to be an asset for the Party and the entire country.
Chairman PPP further said that being a huge party with ground-level roots in all the four provinces, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and FATA, there was no match to the PPP in struggle, sacrifices and performance for restoration and strengthening democracy and protection of the rights of masses. Answering a question about rumours of his clashes with his father and co-chairman PPP Asif AliZardari, Bilawal said that his father former President Asif Ali Zardari and he himself have been working together and will continue to work together because it is only way to succeed. “The way Asif Ali Zardari put democracy on track and shed his own powers as President to strengthen the Parliament”, said Bilawal.
“We are working like a well-integrated team and everyone knows that Asif Ali Zardari has always earned a great respect among the masses and workers for his brave struggle and steadfastness during imprisonments”, stated Bilawal Bhutto.
Bilawal Bhutto said that the decisions in his party are made through consultations in the greater interests of people, he further said that party leadership will take all the workers onboard in thedecision-making process like in the past.
Bilawal further said that changes in the organization remain a continuous exercise and all such decisions would be made through consultation within the Party as both the old and young faces would work together for the emancipation of the people from poverty, illiteracy, extremism and terrorism.-Agencies
