Regional order in south Asia remains tense as usual ! Heavily populated countries like China , India , Former USSR now in the form of CARs , Pakistan and Bangla Desh are engaged with each other in a way , on various matters , that restoration of durable peace still appears as an uphill task. There are problems of multiple nature! And in the heart of all problems lies the Afghan crisis . Why it lies in the heart of all problems , is not difficult to understand , once USA persistently radiating red signals to all regional stake holders . Strange things keep happening in those parts of the world where US flag flatters in quest of self style peace ! But what is happening in Iran on account of Nuclear deal is more than usually stranger and undoubtedly , USA as ever , is there moving all the wrong cords to play a tune of her choice in Middle East . Can Pakistan remain impartial or neutral to such developments and continue with the business as usual?. A simple answer to this short but tricky question is NO. Pakistan shares borders with both Afghanistan and Iran while having a common history of foreign interferences with former Here , in the given setting of regional chess board , Pakistan has to be seen and heard as a relevant player . There is no need to portray a false posture! Pakistan , by all means , is a relevant player and a victim of regional gimmickries of global players . Indian factor has always taken a central place in Pakistan’s security calculus with so many understandable reasons . Our relations with China got a visible significance with the acceleration on CPEC . Likewise , Indo – China bitter bi-lateral relations got one more reason to lock horns as the CPEC came in lime light . Modi visited China recently and created a strong impression to repair the damages done after Doklam stand off . This is smart on part of Indian diplomatic quarters . Side by side , India is pursuing her aim to become a regional hegemon for which she has USA backing , for the time being . Obviously , this aggressive mindset would disturb the existing balance of power in South Asian arena . Whatever form this mindset takes in future , but peace would ultimately be damaged . Plans to deploy nuclear Submarines in India ocean has just emerged as an appetizer item on Modi’s menu and surely it will ignite the hunger with the passage of time . One can take it as Indian plan to flex muscles in the region against China but its conception is not at all indigenous . It is outcome of joint brainstorming on part of India and USA . Indian attempts to pressurize the small neighboring countries are no secret to the world . In 2016 , India went all out to sabotage SAARC summit scheduled in Islamabad by pulling out Afghanistan , Bengla Desh and Bhutan . Such negative maneuverings would prove fatal for regional peace . Modi regime is already playing with fire in Kashmir and Afghanistan . Keeping Pakistan constantly in cross hairs of RAW sponsored terrorism and media boosted false allegations of cross border terrorism has started dragging this region far and far from peaceful solution of disputes with every passing moment . Pakistan , being an important player of the region , can neither remain oblivious of joint Indo- US conspiracies nor afford to be absolutely in daggers drawn state with all neighbors . Engagement with Russia and China has provided us a good breathing space but still a lot more is required to stabilize the situation . At this point of time , Pakistan more than ever requires internal peace , stability and economic progress . Unfortunately , meaningful verbosity by ex PM has served the purposes of our enemies . Likewise , dubious campaigning from PTM platform against armed forces in the garb of tribal peoples’ rights has targeted directly on the nerves of common masses . Indo- USA joint ventures pose clear and present dangers to our existence . Pakistan needs a government well committed to the vital national interests and smart enough to deal with the mischievous Indian onslaught on diplomatic front . Indian designs to rise against China would definitely be having far reaching implications for Pakistan as well . Nuclearization of ocean with nuclear capable submarines by India is a step too dangerous to be ignored .
