Two years back Indian forces mercilessly killed young Burhan Wani by falsely declaring him a terrorist . On that black day of 8th July 2016 Burhan Wani was a young boy of 20 years age . Unlike the boys of his age , Burhan Wani was actively involved in indigenous armed resistance of Kashmiri youth against inhuman atrocities of Indian occupied forces . In an age when youngsters strive hard for career , education and enjoy the life with peculiar hobbies Burhan Wani became an icon of freedom and resistance . His unprecedented popularity among the Kashmiri youth had been a constant source of irritation for the Indian security establishment deeply involved in inhuman acts of violence against masses . Decision to eliminate Burhan Wani was a mistake in principal as proved in the killing fields of Kashmir since decades . Political engagement has never been an option for the blood thirsty ruling regime so the subsequent retaliation surfaced from oppressed Kashmiris as the only logical response left with them . Martyr Burhan Wani proved a greater threat to Dehli Sarkar as compared to alive Burhan Wani. More than usually large funeral gathering of Wani rang many distant bells in New Dehli . Public reaction to Wani’s brutal elimination in the hands of occupied forces was unprecedented . Kashmir witnessed a historic public uprising of the oppressed against the savage Indian forces . Extra ordinarily prolonged curfews , closure of educational institutes , suspension of routine economic activities and inhuman genocide of Kashmiri youth is now the part of history which still awaits an end . Wani, after his heart wrenching martyrdom, surfaced on the canvas as a factor which revived the freedom movement and re- ignited the spirit of resistance among the youth . Though the Indian decision makers have realized the rapidly turning ground realities but setting up of a new course at collective level remains a far dream in present scenario . Closure of Kashmir on second anniversary of Burhan Wani is enough to strip the Indian claims of being a secular democratic republic . New Dehli , being at the lowest part of ladder , was unable to bear her own crafted puppet government of Mehbooba Mufti . Kashmir under governor rule is crying at the top of voice that Modi led BJP regime can never think and act to favor the Kashmiri masses . Extra judicial killings of innocent youth in the hands of security forces and frequent incidents of gang rapes have sown the seeds of hatred in the hearts of victims . Kashmir today stands as a unique piece of land where hundreds of thousands of soldiers are just holding the ground minus the masses . Absolute denial of roots of the problem and persistent state sponsored violence ultimately scratched the name of India from the hearts and mindsof Kashmiris . Crisis in Kashmir has gradually transformed into a great human tragedy due to extremely non flexible stance and extremely inhuman dealing of New Dehli . Unfortunately , this region has been chosen by the Indian hawks as a battlefield to settle scores with Pakistan . In the heat of hatred with Pakistan these hawks have started considering Kashmiri people as a commodity of war which can be twisted , tarnished , mutilated and degraded to win over the enemy . Venting out grudges against Pakistan by crushing the Kashmiris remains a common factor of Indian strategy since long . Reality of the day is that millions of human beings can not be kept chained like slaves for prolonged period . Kashmir remains the worst case of mass scale human rights violations and undoubtedly shines as the darkest spot on the forehead of Indian republic . Highly prejudiced hardcore Hindu extremist cult of BJP poses a greater threat to regional peace as inhuman violence coupled with absolute avoidance of political engagement would only add towards worsening the crisis. Pakistan , at state level ,can not remain oblivious from the situation in Kashmir . Even India wouldn’t let it happen . In her quest to put Pakistan on mate , India has been pursuing a well thought out policy of fixing fabricated allegations to divert attention from her brutalities in Kashmir .This kind of coercive conduct and extra ordinary denial of public sentiments might push the whole region towards a greater conflict . India , with her mischievous ways , can neither control Kashmir nor bend Pakistan to her will . The biggest proof of Indian failure is the fact that Wani after two years still haunts New Dehli hawks from his grave.
