- Warns Punjab Ministers if they would not deliver they will go back to their homes
LAHORE, October 30: Prime Minister Imran Khan has told to the Parliamentary leadership that we will soon get out of the economic crisis.
Sources said that the Prime Minister assured the Punjab Parliamentary Party that they should not be worried and frightened. He said that the opposition has no moral justification to protest against the government. He said after Saudi Arabia I am proceeding to China. He said instead of taking loans we would bring investment from China. He also warned the Punjab Ministers if they would not deliver they will go back to their homes. Prime Minister Imran Khan paid a brief visit to Lahore and met with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. CM Punjab briefed Prime Minister Imran Khan on the steps taken by the Punjab government for implementation of 100-days plan.
The prime minister discussed with Usman Buzdar political, administrative, and economic matters of the province.
The Punjab chief minister also informed the prime minister about progress on the “Naya Pakistan Housing Programme” in Punjab. During the meeting, they discussed the matters relating to the Senate election.
Meanwhile, Imran Khan met Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and discussed various matters including political and economic matters of the province.
The prime minister appreciated the speaker for running the proceedings of assembly in a better way. The Punjab Assembly speaker congratulated the prime minister for his successful visit to Saudi Arabia.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Khan will chair several meetings during his official visit.-Agencies
