LONDON, November 22: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mian Saqib Nisar, has said indiscriminate justice is being meted out to the citizens.
Talking to the newsmen after arriving in London on a week-long trip, the CJP said: “There is no ‘selective” system of justice in Pakistan’, we are dispensing justice across the board, he maintained.
He stated that the purpose of his UK’s visit was to witness the graduation ceremony of his son, adding he would also attend a ceremony being organised by the overseas Pakistanis for dam fund-raising.
The fundraising ceremony for Diamer-Bhasha dam will be held at the UK Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industries.
The fundraising drive for the Supreme Court of Pakistan and Prime Minister of Pakistan Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand Dams Fund is in progress at a rapid pace.
According to the Supreme Court of Pakistan, over 7.839 billion rupees had been collected by Oct 20 through donations by various individuals and organisations and expatriate Pakistanis so far.
The citizens can deposit their donations for the dam fund in the SBP’s account number that is 03-593-299999-001-4.
The overseas Pakistanis having accounts in Pakistan can also make donations in the Fund through the internet banking facility of their respective banks. DNA
