ISLAMABAD, November 25: Minister for Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has strongly condemned the fresh wave of martyrdom of innocent Kashmiris in Occupied Kashmir by Indian troops.
Condemning the Sunday’s killings in Shopian, the minister, in a statement, asked for resolution of the issue in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions.
The Minister said Pakistan believes in peaceful neighborhood but everyone knows that India rejected the offer of talks. He said India should come to negotiating table for peacefully resolving al bilateral disputes.
Gandapur said that while India is involved in state terrorism in occupied Kashmir, Pakistan is taking steps for promoting peace in the region.
Gandapur slammed Indian forces for killings of Kashmiris on a daily basis and called on the country to stop the genocide. India will have to accept Kashmiris’ right to self- determination, he said. The minister added that Pakistan has showed its commitment to peace by fulfilling its promise to open the Kartarpur corridor.-Sabah
