Same as humans, it is easier for a country to make good relations with a neighbouring state if the next-door neighbour tends to reciprocate one’s friendly gestures and endeavours. Unfortunately, Pakistan in this regard has not been lucky enough because India as a neighbour has always nullified all efforts on the part of Pakistan for normalization of ties between the two countries placed side by side on the atlas. More than often, the means used to defeat Pakistan’s rapprochement attempts did not remain confined to showing a cold shoulder or resorting to verbal discouragements; rather it was made sure by Indian policy makers that situation should be taken to such a limit through practical acts of animosity that Pakistan should never think about returning to negotiation tables again.
Since partition, Indian establishment, being predominantly controlled by ‘Akhand Bharat’ (Undivided India) ideologues, felt it utterly uncompromising to accept Pakistan as a separate and independent homeland for the Muslims of Indian sub-continent. Hence, they not only treacherously seized Muslim majority state of Jammu & Kashmir right at the outset, but continued to harm Pakistan’s sovereignty through frequent acts of sabotage and terror. Over the years India also manipulated the world to consider the facts about Indian overt-covert conspiracies against Pakistan are a mere bluff, while simultaneously holding Pakistan responsible for all the ills that pop-up inside India as a natural consequence of their own nefarious designs. India continued tricking her own as well as foreign audience blatantly; be it the indigenous Kashmir movement that India holds Pakistan responsible for, the absurd Uri Army Base drama to accuse Pakistan-based insurgents for killing 18 soldiers, or for that matter the non-existent retributive surgical strikes staged on the sets of Bollywood. However, the 2008 Mumbai Attacks stand out as their most absurd bluff-game ever, because just for the sake of declaring them as 26/11 of India, the episode was staged on the exact footprints of US’ 9/11. As expected, the pre-fabricated official Indian version blamed Pakistan by terming the incident as “a series of attacks launched by members of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) who carried out 12 coordinated shootings and bombings that lasted for four days across Mumbai, killing 164 and wounding 308 people”.
As always feared, the giant Indian media mechanism in no time infected the world that matters and succeeded in pulling out global condemnation for the incident in general and for Pakistan in particular for its allegedly vague role in the affair. However, as the dust of disbelief subsided with the passage of time and facts started to unfold, the official Indian version on the attacks turned out to be an absolute farce. While Pakistan as well as LeT denied the veracity of the whole affair right at the outset, the impartial segments of Indian academia also became extrovert with regard to inherent flaws, dichotomies and anomalies present in the execution and follow-up of the 4-day long terrorist drama.
Yet, the hardest blow for India’s ‘Deep State’ elements has come in the form of a book by the renown Jewish writer Elias Davidsson. The book titled “The Betrayal of India: Revisiting the 26/11 Evidence” draws a closer investigative look at the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, and proves how the attacks followed the exact patterns of deception common in the ‘War on Terror’, how by framing the event as an act of war Indian armed forces got an immediate 21% hike in military spendings, how it was ensured that the timing of attacks at Taj Hotel in Mumbai should match with the presence of Henry Kissinger, Goldman Sachs and other international celebrities to help bring India closer to countries claiming to take lead in the WoT. Whereas the book provides irrevocable proofs against the incident terming it a ‘false flag attack’ by exposing the facts on ‘forged confessions and witness manipulations, the most striking disclosure by writer that proves the Indian official version as lie states that, “of the hundreds of witnesses processed by the court in relation to attacks at various locations in Mumbai, not a single one testified to having observed any of the 8 accused killing anyone”. Not a big riddle to solve that in fact the so-called terrorists led by Ajmal Kasab were already in custody and were then transported dead or alive to the respective locations of the ‘engineered terror’. Still more embarrassing was the subsequent finding that Ajmal Kasab was actually an Indian citizen having UP’s domicile, which Indian government cancelled immediately after the incident to give the facts their desired turns.
The question arises as to what India achieved with the Mumbai drama. The answer is simple; by killing 164 of its own innocent people India secured an undue share in WoT via irrelevant access in Afghanistan allowing it to build conspiracy stations along Pak-Afghan border, received defence equipment worth billions from the West, succeeded in convincing the WoT-backers to place Pakistan among terror-sponsor countries, and above all, confused the world at large about the very legitimate Kashmir freedom movement as an act of terrorism by Kashmiris. Indeed, for achieving the above-said objectives in the name of greater national interests, the sacrifice of 164 innocent lives was a peanut for India.
In this backdrop, it would be hoping-against-hope to believe that such bluff games of terror by India would one day end on their own. In such a scenario the countries, having concerns about terrorism and those like Pakistan that are real victim of terror from closest neighbourhood, must join their forces to counter the conspiracy theories scripted by India & Co for their vested interests. As insisted by Elias Davidsson in his book “The Betrayal of India: Revisiting the 26/11 Evidence” Indian civil society and victims’ families have every right to demand establishment of a National Truth Commission with mandate to ascertain the facts on Mumbai attacks drama enacted on 26 November 2008. Since the book raises uncomfortable questions, the facts given therein are being deliberately downplayed in India since its publication. Nevertheless, it is high time for Indian human rights bodies, academia and the media to adopt a mature stance on the issue so that similar heinous plots hatched by ‘Indian deep state’ may not cause irreparable damage to India itself as well as the world peace at large.
