Many analysts believed that the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) had engineered the attack on Indian Parliament to defame Pakistan as well as Kashmiris who were waging a legitimate struggle against Indian occupation. Not only analysts but also India watchers, who knew about India’s false flag operations, had reached the conclusion that it was insiders’ job, as no outsider could reach the most protected area. On July 14, 2013 a former under-secretary of India’s Ministry of Home Affairs R.V.S. Mani had signed the affidavits that were submitted in the court during proceedings of the Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case. Mani, who was not an ordinary government functionary but had held important position, stated: “Satish Verma told him that both the terror attacks were set up with the objective of strengthening the counter-terror legislation.”
Anyhow, it was first time that such an attack was launched on the heavily guarded parliamentary complex. According to reports, on 13th December 2001, five armed men drove through the gates of the Indian parliament in a car fitted with a bomb. When challenged they jumped out of the car and opened fire, killing eight security personnel and a gardener. On 15th December Delhi Police special cell arrested, what they called, the mastermind, Professor S.A.R. Geelani, in Delhi, Showkat Guru and his cousin Afzal Guru in Srinagar, Kashmir. Subsequently, they arrested Afsan Guru, Showkat’s wife, but the high court had acquitted them and the supreme court upheld the acquittal. But in its 5th August 2005 judgment, the court gave Afzal Guru three life sentences and a double death sentence on the basis of manipulated evidence.
Whereas, India is involved in false flag operations like Attack on Indian Parliament and Mumbai attacks, it continues with vilification campaign against Pakistan. Last month, a news item captioned “Army Chief Warns of Pakistan Plot to Revive Insurgency in Punjab” was published in New Delhi-based RAW’s front organization namely – A Publication of Bureau of Political Research and Analysis. Inter-alia Indian Army Chief, General Bipin Rawat, said that attempts were being made through external linkages and external abetment to revive insurgency in Assam and Punjab. He referred to Pro-Khalistan rally organized in UK by Sikh for Justice (SFJ) an international advocacy group that works for Indian Punjab Independence Referendum 2020 for Sikh right to self-determination. General Rawat revealed that the out-fit has its activist in Britain and the USA, beside ISI supporting them covertly.
According to Indian agencies information, “ISI is fomenting trouble in the state but so far has not been able to mobilize enough support among Sikh Youth.” In fact, in the event of any act of terror or turmoil in many states, Indian leadership and agencies blame the ISI. Yet, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday lost three key state elections to the opposition Congress party, in a blow to the momentum of prime minister Narendra Modi ahead of a national poll in the spring. The opposition Congress Party is now set to succeed BJP governments in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and the crucial state of Madhya Pradesh, in the biggest defeat for Narendra Modi since taking office in 2014. This means that majority of people in India reject his claims of economic growth and prosperity, and also for his support to extremist organizations.
