ISLAMABAD, December 31: The federal government on Monday reduced prices of petroleum products, with petrol going down by Rs4.86 per litre.
The new price for petrol would now be Rs90.97 per litre, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement. The price of diesel went down by Rs4.26, taking it to Rs106.68 per litre.
Similarly, the new rate for light diesel oil would be Rs75.28 per litre after its price was reduced by Rs2.16, the statement read further. The price of kerosene oil was cut by 52 paisas, taking it to Rs82.98 per litre, it added. The new prices will take effect from midnight.-Agencies
