Pakistan women cricket team head coach Mark Coles is confident that his girls will compete strongly in their upcoming assignments.
Pakistan team will start their training camp from January 17 in Karachi ahead of their first series against West Indies in the ICC Women’s Championship.
Coles said that the team management has planned different strategies to prepare the girls well for the upcoming series. He said that the girls will go through skills test. “Our team has some very good players either in bowling or batting department,” he said. The head coach coined the senior players’ presence in the team important to gain worthy achievements in their future endeavors. “We have experienced Sama Mir in our side who can lead from the front while, on the other hand, Javeria Waddod and Nida Dar are also there to support the team well,” said Coles who is happy on the return of Bismah Maroof who will be seen leading the side once again. It is pertinent to mention here that Bismah suffered from sinus injury and went through surgery last year. She completed the rehabilitation process and now will make a comeback to the side.
West Indies women will tour Pakistan to play three-match T20I series from January 31 to February 3.
