RAWALPINDI, February 5: Paying tributes to Kashmiri brothers and sisters over their continued struggle for right to self-determination, the Pakistan army on Tuesday said Indian Occupation Forces
have failed to suppress their struggle for freedom, said the military’s media wing.
Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor has said that Indian-occupied Kashmir (IOK) has remained pending and unresolved dispute on the United Nations (UN) agenda since 1948.
The DG ISPR took to Twitter on the Kashmir Solidarity Day, and stated that decades of atrocities by Indian forces have failed to suppress the freedom movement of Kashmiris.

Kashmir Day was observed Tuesday to reiterate whole-hearted support of the Pakistani nation to just struggle of Kashmiri people for their inalienable right to self-determination under UN resolutions.
A one minute silence was observed throughout the country to pay homage to the martyrs of the liberation struggle.
Earlier, on Feb 4, the Corps Commanders of the Pakistan Army on Monday expressed solidarity with resilient Kashmiri brethren.
The 218th Corps Commanders Conference presided by General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters reviewed the geo-strategic environment and security situation of the country.- NNI
