KARACHI, February 21: Accountability Court on Thursday granted the National Accountability Bureau the physical custody and remand on Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani till March 1st.
The Pakistan Peoples Party leader was presented before the accountability court amid tight security as NAB sought his physical remand. The NAB prosecutor told the court that Sindh Speaker Siraj Durrani is accused of owning assets beyond known sources of income and requested his 14-day physical remand as the matter is in inquiry stage. – NNI
