ISLAMABAD, April 11: Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing called on Naval Chief Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi here on Thursday and discussed defence and maritime cooperation between Pakistan and China.
A spokesperson of Pakistan Navy said matters pertaining to maritime security of multi billion China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) were also discussed. The Naval Chief threw light on Pakistan Navy’s efforts for maritime security in the region.The Chinese envoy appreciated Pakistan Navy’s contributions to regional security.
Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua had a meeting with Vice Foreign Minsiter Le Yucheng in Beijing Thursday. During the meeting, matters pertaining to regional and bilateral interest came under discussion. – DNA
