LAHORE , April 19: After major replacements in the 47-member Federal Cabinet, the portfolios of Punjab ministers are also likely to be changed as their performance report has been sent to Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.
According to sources, the premier is expected to make important decisions regarding Punjab Cabinet in coming days.
The list of change in the province’s bureaucracy has also been prepared as per which, chief secretary, four secretaries, three commissioners, 11 deputy commissioners and 31 assistant commissioners will be replaced.
Major (R) Azam Suleman, who is serving as federal interior secretary, is a strong candidate for the post of chief secretary.
Sources said that commissioners of Lahore division, Dera Ghazi Khan and Faisalabad are also expected to be changed.
It is to be mentioned here that Prime Minister (PM) Imran had changed and re-allocated the portfolios of ministers of the federal cabinet.-Agencies
