In post Pulwama scenario Indo- Pak bi-lateral relations revolve around nothing but one word ; tension! Obviously, fire of aggression is being constantly fanned by the BJP hawks led by none other than PM Modi himself. In public rallies PM Modi and his aides displayed the worst side of their hawkish mindset by threatening Pakistan . Vertex is the recent threat of using nuclear weapons to wipe off Pakistan from the earth . And this came straight from the horse’s mouth called Modi the PM.
While trying to treat the burning itch of jaw breaking response from Pakistan after Balakot failed misadventure, Indian government adopted miserable stances, mostly based on lies and verbosity , to prove her military ascendancy over traditional adversary.
All claims busted on the face and fetched historic embarrassments for the claimant. The most jubilated of the claims were downing of F-16 aircraft of PAF and killing of more than 350 terrorists in an non- existent Balakot camp. Both claims proved wrong ! Not as a result of human error or undesired mistake but as an outcome of fabricated lies spread by the state institutions. Many a times , Indian top cabinet members and senior ranks of defence establishment made forceful claims about F-16 and destruction of a big terrorist camp in Balakot. Before the world would have objected upon blatant lies, it was unbiased Indian media which raised questions and challenged the authenticity of foolish claims.
To cut the story short, after being beaten back in all parts of the world, eventually Indian Foreign Minister SushmaSwaraj admitted that none of the Pakistani civilian or soldier could be killed in most celebrated air strike at Balakot.
Few weeks earlier Pakistan suggested India to opt for truth . Thanks GOD ! Message is home and well understood , though quite late. Question rightly arises that such an unexpected admission of well thought out lie to be taken either as a change of heart in New Dehli or a new strategy to strike Pakistan while the former lowers the guards. Pakistan , at this stage , can not afford to lower the guards. Frequency of terrorist attacks in Balochistan warrants some extra ordinary measures with minimum waste of time. Enemy is all set to exploit the most vulnerable fault lines of sectarian and linguistic hatred. While feeling relaxed on hard earned victories in war against terrorism , Pakistan has equally complex reasons to remain constantly worried about the untreated weaknesses. Failure on part of civilian LEAs specially the police emerges as a key factor which always enables terrorists to strike at the place and time of their choosing. This dangerous freedom of action to terrorists in most vulnerable province Balochistan is enough to expose the inefficiency on part of civilian LEAs. If country is in a state of war against terrorism then all provincial governments should sit with federal government ,without waste of a single moment, to plug in the holes being used by the snakes dispatched by the enemies.
Security of citizens is one of the prime responsibilities of the state which can not be relegated on the plea of petty political differenced of ruling elite. Provincial and federal government is bound under a constitutional oath to take all possible measures for the protection of citizens .
Unfortunately , inefficient governmental machinery has left the poor masses at the mercy of foreign sponsored terrorists. While issuing spiritless condolence messages ,Balochistan government should spent some time on identifying the officials responsible for displaying negligence in discharge of duties. How come terrorists succeeded in picking the targets of their own choosing at a main high way with no fear of LEAs?
This action clearly reflects non- existence of much talked about writ of the government. Heads responsible for such costly criminal negligence must roll from the shoulders. Without serious accountability of LEAs no worthwhile progress can be achieved in future as well. War is not over with India rather it took a more complex shape. Conflicting interests of regional powers and global players have turned our lands into a larger battlefield . Finding peace through diplomatic means is neither easy nor possible under existing circumstances.
PM has moved to Iran at a time when terrorists targeted Balochistan repeatedly in a short span of time and Pak foreign office surprisingly disclosed that terrorist camps exist at Iraniterreitory and perpetrators of Ormara carnage came from there. This disclosure from Pak foreign office is coupled with a demand from Iranian government to act against these terrorist camps.
Though, surprising for many that Pakistan is demanding fromsome one to act against terrorists , this all is emerging in a dangerous context as forgotten by many that Indian spy Khal Bhoshan (aka Muhammad Hussain) had been running RAW sponsored terrorist net works while being stationed at Chahbahar. A country like Pakistan can not fetch peace without being stable at internal front .
Stability is conditioned with expeditious over coming of economic, governance and political challenges. It is about time to shelf aside the petty political differences . Federal and provincial governments should work in harmony to deal with the challenges of present era. Obviously , capacity building of all civil LEAs especially Police should be kept at top of the priority list.
No one sitting at thrones can think to relax as it seems to be a season of complex wars!
