Dr. Shahid Masud the celebrated anchorperson has been arguing in his programme on GNN that Prime Minister Imran Khan may soon decide to dissolve the assembly on the ground that it is dysfunctional and is getting increasingly counterproductive. The other day, on the basis of his observation and contacts, he said Imran Khan was angry at the way the parliament was becoming hostage to the whims and designs of those who had plundered the country during their rule and now were hoping to stage a ‘comeback’ by dislodging the present government through chaos and disorder.
Whether or not Imran Khan has this option in his mind is known to him and Allah, but I tend to agree with Dr. Shahid Masud that this system is crumbling from within, and the sooner the country gets rid of it and is liberated from its vices, the better will be the chances of a TURNAROUND in the fortunes of the Nation.
I have since long de-thinking my thanking processes and hopes from the system that had delivered the country to two marauding mafias— one based in Nao Dero, and the other in Jaati Umra.
Imran Khan has already contributed hugely to our history by delivering lethal blows to the power of these mafias and to the status quo created by them. We can already take satisfaction from the fact that never again in this country a Sharif or a Zardari will enter the corridors of power. They are dead forces. Only their burial has to take place. And for that we want a new order to be created through the Will of the People. It is time for the State to ask the Nation under which system it wants to be governed.
Doors of power are closed forever to those plundering families!
