ISLAMABAD, May 3: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan Friday said that Prime Minister claimed a victory as no corrupt, hinting at Shehbaz Sharif, was appointed as new Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman.
Addressing a press conference, Firdous Ashiq Awan questioned that how can the Sharif brothers attract the nationals even if they failed to convince the courts. Truth has exposed before the nation regarding the Sharif brothers, she added. Sharifs series to misguide nationals has ended now, she slammed.
The SAPM asserted that Nawaz Sharif did not get himself medically treated on any day of his bail which was granted to him on medical grounds. They have lied to the nation saying that they have to run the parliament, institutions should work freely and they have to give relief to the people. She said that their attempts to misguide the nation has ended now.
Commenting over the Supreme Court’s judgment on review petition by former premier Nawaz Sharif, Awan said that the narrative of PM Imran Khan has become victorious but the arguments of oppositions faced defeat.
Imran Khan’s narrative regarding [Opposition Leader in the National Assembly] Shehbaz Sharif has been proved as truth. Prime Minister had said earlier that Shehbaz Sharif should not be appointed as the chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC).Awan said, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has itself changed its opposition leader and PAC chairman.
Imran Khan’s narrative regarding [Opposition Leader in the National Assembly] Shehbaz Sharif has been proved as truth. Prime Minister had said earlier that Shehbaz Sharif should not be appointed as the chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), She expressed.
While answering to a question, Awan said that PM Khan took notice of the hike in medicines prices and directed for special measures to reduce the rates.-NNI
