Police is a disciplined lot like other para military forces of the country and it brooks no indiscipline, whatever, in its ranks. This quality makes our armed forces in general so special and prominent in the world, particularly, in the Muslim world so every patriot in this country was saddened to note a rift between the junior and senior police officers of the KPK recently over an issue. . It is of utmost importance that those responsible for the police affairs in the province deal with iron hand against the guilty police officials , otherwise, this will have a negative effect on the morale and discipline of the policemen of other provinces of the country also.
The statement of the NAB chairman that pressure is being mounted on him to withdraw references against some influential persons is also a cause of concern for the common man. It proves, if any proof is required, that some highly placed persons both in the former and the present government whose hands are soiled in mega corruption cases realise that if the references against them were taken to their logical conclusion they are bound to land in the clinker.
The NAB chairman , for obvious reasons, cannot disclose the names of those for whom effort is being made to let them off the hook but, he can, one day when he is no longer on his present assignment, write his autobiography in which he can expose the names of these holy cows so that the man in the street should know the ugly faces of those persons who had used their political clout to make money through illegal means.
