Sources said that intelligence agencies were tipped about presence of few persons involved in suspicious activities in Liaquatabad area. Security personnel carried out a recce in the area and later apprehended two suspected terrorists near Chief Minister Secretariat. Explosives and detonators have been seized from their possession.
The criminals have been shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation. On the other hand, four criminals who were arrested for possession of explosives have been sentenced to life in prison.
