There is no love lost between Shahbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif and this friction has filtered down to their offspring , to boot. On the political front, there are many things on which they don’t see eye to eye with. The younger Sharif has inherited many qualities of his late father , Mian Sharif. He always try to keep ajar the door of political dialogue with political adversaries unlike his elder brother.
The struggle for power between Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Sharif has been surfacing time and again which proves that all is not well within Nawaz League.
Aitzaz Ahsan has very rightly advised his party elders to move with abundant caution in their recent dealings with Nawaz League as the latter is quite capable of doing somersault and hitting it off with the Establishment in which case they could be left in the lurch .
Meanwhile, the JUI(F) is hell-bent to bring all the opposition parties on a single platform and odds are that the APC might see the light of day towards the end of the current month. It is yet to be seen whether or not the common man is in the mood to take to the streets at the bidding of the opposition at this point in time as a big segment of society wants to give the present rulers some more time to make good on their promises and deliver and does not want to change the horses in the midstream.
FOOTNOTE :Why is the FBR not disclosing the names of those persons who are declaring their hidden assets?The taxpayers have the right to know their names and the extent of their private assets which have been kept hidden from the government hitherto.
