LAHORE, July 4: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Thursday arrested five alleged terrorists by foiling their bid to blow up railway track in Rajanpur.
It has been reported that all detained terrorists belong to Balochistan Liberation Army (LBA).
According to CTD sources, Hussain Bakhsh, aka Bagga Reesh,
Bakhsh, Balach, aka Balash, Rahem Ali and Mujahid Din, aka Mojoo were the ones who were trying to commit this act of terrorism.
CTD reported that these terrorists belonged to Balochistan Republican Army, Baggi Commander Group which planned to blow up the railway track in Rajanpur District of Southwestern Punjab. Weapons, IEDs and six kilograms of explosives were recovered from their possession.
It was reported by CTD that evidence showing strong links to Brahmdagh Bugti were found who was financing them to commit acts of terrorism in the country.
On July 2, The United States of America declared the Balochistan Liberation Army as a terrorist organization adding it to the list of banned terrorist outfits.
The US Office of Foreign Assessment Control (OFAC) added BLA in the list of banned outfits. – Agencies
