ISLAMABAD, March 3: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif says the government firmly believes in strengthening the armed forces to wipe out terrorism and confront external threats and challenges.

said that the contributions of Pakistan Air Force in the on-going military offensive operation Zarb-e-Azb are commendable.
The crucial role of Air Force demonstrated in the country’s biggest military offensive against terrorism was decisive in defeating the terrorists, the Prime Minister said. This was possible due to the highest professional standard maintained by Pakistan Air Force, emphasized the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister further said that the present government firmly believes in strengthening the Armed Forces in view to wipe-out the menace of terrorism from the homeland and be prepared to confront threats and challenges. -DNA
