ISLAMABAD, March 4: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Siraj ul Haq has called for formation of a commission to investigate allegations levelled against the MQM chief by former Karachi Nazim Mustafa kamal.
He also said that Pervez Musharraf, PPP and PML-N governments were fully aware of MQM relations with RAW but none of them took notice of the issue for the sake of their own interest.
While talking to media persons outside parliament house Friday, he stressed that the judiciary, the government and all other institutions take notice of the allegations levelled by MQM former leader Mustafa Kamal against MQM chief Altaf Hussain.
Earlier, several MQM workers also made such revelations but the government did not take them seriously
Allegations were also levelled against Altaf for his relations with Indian spy agency RAW and these allegations were re-echoing now as well, he sadi.
“If relations with RAW and receiving funds from it are not a crime then it will not be an offence to work for the CIA and other agencies in the future,” he said.
We have to see now what action the government, judiciary and state institutions take on these allegations, he observed calling for formation of a commission to investigate the allegations.- Online
