ISLAMABAD, September 20: NAB is committed to eradicate corruption by adopting Accountability for All” policy with iron hands. This was stated by Honorable Mr. Justice Javed Iqbal, Chairman NAB while chairing a meeting to review performance of Operation, Prosecution, Training and Research and Awareness and Prevention Divisions of NAB at NAB Headquarters. He said that NAB is absolutely committed to eradicate corruption by adopting “Accountability for All” policy through effective National Anti-Corruption Strategy for logical conclusion of mega corruption white collar cases as per law. He said that the figures of complaints, inquiries and investigations are almost double as compared to the figures of same period of 2018 to 2019. The comparative figures for the last 22 months are also indicative of NAB’s excellent performance of NAB. He said that NAB has recovered Rs. 71 billion from direct and indirect was and deposited in the national exchequer which is a record achievement. – PR
