The president of Azad Kashmir hit the right nail on the head by saying that only China, Turkey and Iran have openly raised their voice against Indian barbarity in Kashmir while we didn’t get the required support from the Arab world and the West. Truer words were never spoken.
One would have expected outright support from Saudi Arabia, which the entire Muslim world look up to, because of its central position in the Muslim world. Had its leaders told in unambiguous words the Indian leadership to stay its hand from torturing Kashmiri Muslims it would have made a great difference.
The PM is to address the UN General Assembly in a couple of hours. The American president’s inclination towards Modi has hurt the common man in this country tremendously. He feels that it is now proved beyond reasonable doubt that the U.S holds India nearer to its heart than Pakistan . If anybody thinks Washington would give its ear on Kashmir to us he is living in a fool’s paradise. There are many in this country who think it would have been better had our PM cancelled his meeting with the American president for conveying his displeasure for cuddling up to Modi who is a serial killer of the Muslims . That decision would not only have endeared him more to the common man in this country but increased his political stature in the entire world. From where should we bring leaders like Khomeni, Soekarno, Cho-enLai, Castro Jamal Abdul Nasir , to mention a few, who were fully capable of baring their teeth to persons like Trump?
