Pakistan team’s head coach Misbah-ul-Haq focuses on his team’s strength instead of Sri Lankan team who is touring without their main players.
While talking to the media in Karachi, Misbah said that being professionals their priority will be to win matches and not focus on how experienced the opponents are.
“Our work is to perform well and we will try to give our best on the ground. You can’t take anyone lightly, although their most of the players are inexperienced still they can give a tough time,” he said.
Misbah thinks that the return of ODI cricket will prove worthy for Pakistan’s cricket as players will get a chance to play on those grounds where they grew up.
“It motivates you when you play at home ground. It gives you an exceptional experience,” he said.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sri Lanka will play three ODIs in Karachi on September 27, 29 and October 2 after which they will travel to Lahore to play three T20Is on October 5, 7 and 9.
