I have been an admirer of Dr Shahid Masud for his commitment to Islamism but I disagree with him on IK. Imran Khan will be the Key Player in Pakistan as long as he is aIive. He will make mistakes but there is no stopping him. The only alternative to him is authoritarianism. Unlikely.

Isn’t it a great revolution that on the one hand Imtiaz Alam, Salim Bukhari and Arif Hameed Bhatti are on the same page and on the other hand Maulana Fazl, Nawaz Sharif, Bilawal Bhuutto and Narender Modi have the same political goal? They all can’t afford Imran Khan!!!

Presence as analysts in the same programme, of such a pro-India stalwart as Imtiaz Alam and such a committed Nawaz loyalist as Salim Bukhari is a clear indication that the channel has been bought out . Nawaz has alongwith RAW co-fielded Maulana to destabilise Pakistan.

Noon Leaguers and their strange bedfellows talking about economy being in dire straits sound like thugs and burglars talking of law and order having fallen apart. There is genuine shock in their ranks that economy has been pulled back from bankruptcy.
