that Nawaz’s platelet count has fallen to 6,000 again. He said that Shehbaz and the Sharif family have requested the nation to pray for the former prime minister’s recovery.
Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid said that if the Sharif family wanted, any overseas doctor could be flown in to treat Nawaz.
“The plane is ready-if the Sharif family wishes to fly in any doctor from overseas, it can be arranged,” she said.
Medical board decides to use injections to strengthen Nawaz’s immune system
The medical board which is overseeing the treatment of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has decided to use injections to strengthen his immune system.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the Punjab government to allow Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam to stay with her ailing father, Nawaz Sharif, in hospital, sources reported on Thursday.
“Maryam can look after her ailing father, Nawaz Sharif, by staying in the hospital,” said sources.-Agencies
