ISLAMABAD, November 6: Remarks of JUI-F leader Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri created ruckus in Senate and treasury benches protested over the allegation of rigging in 2018 general elections.
JUI-F leader while addressing in the Senate said this is not accountability but victimization. He said time will not remain same, adding that only two families are subjected to accountability. He questioned why accountability is not seen in Punjab and KPK.
Senator Faisal Javed and Azam Sawati from treasury benches protested over Haidri’s remarks.
Haidri further said this government has no capabilities and everyone
in the country is protesting against their ill policies.
Opposition members left Senate after Haidri’s speech.
Federal Minister Murad Saeed on the occasion said they must listen to us if they have courage. He said Maulana Fazlur Rehman as chairman Kashmir Committee enjoyed facilities but PM Imran Khan fought the case as ambassador of Kashmir.
He said PM Imran Khan is providing facilities for Azadi March participants.-Agencies
