RAWALPINDI, December 1: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Major General Asif Ghafoor on Sunday congratulated Dunya News on its 11th anniversary.
Appreciating the performance of the Dunya News, Major General Asif Ghafoor said that the channel during its 11 years has maintained the tradition of responsible journalism.
Earlier today, vivacious and colourful celebrations had been organised in several cities to mark the 11th anniversary of Dunya News that has been successfully spreading awareness amongst the masses about national and international affairs with professionalism and journalists code of ethics.
The main ceremony was held at Dunya News head office in Lahore as the cake-cutting ceremonies were held across the country to mark the 11th anniversary of Dunya News, one of the leading news channel.
According to details, Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) leader Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan cut the cake at Dunya Network head office in Lahore along with Chief Executive Dunya Network Mian Amir Mehmood.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Pervaiz Malik, Federal Minister for Technology Fawad Chaudhry, renowned analysts, anchors and workers attended the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Pervaiz Elahi congratulated the management and staff of Dunya on this occasion. He said that Dunya has become one of the leading news channel Dunya TV always follows the code of conduct.
