ISLAMABAD: The civil and military leadership has reaffirmed the resolve to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired a high-level civil-military leaders meeting at PM House on Tuesday.
The meeting discussed matters pertaining to internal security situation of the country. The participants strongly condemned Shabqadar suicide attack in which 17 people including personnel of law enforcement agencies were martyred.
They paid tributes to law enforcement and security personnel who embraced martyrdom while fighting the menace of terrorism.
The meeting was attended by Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan, DG ISI Lt-Gen. Rizwan Akhtar, National Security Advisor Lt-Gen (retd) Nasser Khan Janjua, Tariq Fatemi SAPM on Foreign Affairs, Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry and other senior officials.-Agencies
