RAWALPINDI, December 16: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said the entire nation is united for lasting peace and prosperity of Pakistan.
In his message on the occasion of 5th anniversary of Army Public School tragedy, the Army Chief said Pakistan has come a long way in failing terrorism as a nation. He said the APS carnage will never be forgotten.
He said five of the involved terrorists have been hanged through military courts. He saluted the martyrs and their families. DG ISPR Major General Asif along with the tweet released the pictures of 147 martyrs of the APS Peshawar carnage including students, teachers and staff members. Meanwhile during meeting with an affected family of Army Public School Peshawar 2014 incident, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that he is the chief of the force, of which personnel are always remain ready to sacrifice their lives for the country. Army chief said that wants to convey message to the forces which are used to threaten Pakistan from out side the country, adding that we have such parents and children and in presence of these people no one could harm the country.
Army chief said that he is proud of Muhammad Ali and his wife who sacrificed three children for the country, adding that they are still saying their remaining children are also ready to sacrifice their lives on country. Army chief said that he is proud of the parents, father and mother who are ready to sacrifice everything for the country. Army chief said that until and unless such parents are present no one even could touch Pakistan. – Sabah
