Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov received Chairman of the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communication (SCITC), his adviser Dastan Dogoyev, his press service said. Chairman Dastan Dogoyev informed about the work carried out within the framework of implementation of the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on Declaring 2019 the Year of Regional Development and Digitalization of the country.
He spoke in detail about the implementation of tasks and measures taken as part of the digital transformation of the country in accordance with the Concept of Digital Kyrgyzstan for 2019-2023.
The chairman provided full information about the priorities for the digital transformation of the country for 2020. According to his data, in 2020 the SCITC will pay special attention to 3 major directions – digitalization of healthcare, education and agriculture sectors. The construction of the Unified Data Center (G-cloud platform) is also planned.
Summing up this year, he said the action plan for 2019 included 89 measures.
For today, 62 state bodies and 24 commercial structures are connected to the Tunduk, electronic interaction system. The system has 389 services, 17.4 million transactions were made for 2018-2019.
He noted that currently 12 certificates have been automated, due to which more than 1.5 million citizens were freed from the inconvenience of standing in queues and excessive paperwork during the year. By the example of automating the process of obtaining a certificate of no debt, business representatives have saved about KGS 18 million.
President Jeenbekov once again recalled the main task in the implementation of the state policy on country’s digitalization – care for a comfortable life of citizen of the country, the exclusion of the human factor in the provision of public services to the population, which will reduce corruption in the public administration.
Noting that the successful implementation of the digitalization process has a direct impact on the development of the country, the President stressed the importance of an active position of all branches of government, ministries and agencies on digital transformation of Kyrgyzstan.
