RAWALPINDI, December 23: Kentaro Sonoura, Special Advisor for Foreign Affairs to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff, on Monday, the ISPR reported.
During the meeting matters of mutual interest including overall regional security situation were discussed. Visiting dignitary appreciated and acknowledged Pakistan’s positive role in the region.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Kentaro Sonoura reiterated the desire to further enhance bilateral relations including efforts for peace and security in the region.-Agencies
